NorCal Arts is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Fairytale Town in Sacramento, bringing engaging children's theatre to young audiences in this beloved community space. Through this collaboration, NorCal Arts will present a variety of productions, including original works, classic fairytales, folk tales, and culturally relevant stories, all crafted to captivate young imaginations. Each play is designed to offer meaningful messages that resonate with children, fostering both entertainment and valuable life lessons. This partnership is set to make Fairytale Town a vibrant hub for family-friendly theatre year-round.

Calling all young aspiring actors and actresses in 6th–12th grade! Join us for an unforgettable experience bringing classic fairytales to life on stage at the beloved Fairytale Town.

Workshop DetailsParticipants will spend one week rehearsing, then perform on four to six weekends. Work with professional teaching artist & actor/director Cattaryna Tekin—to develop your performance skills and bring joy to families at Sacramento’s cherished storybook park.
In this one-week intensive workshop, students will reimagine a favorite fairytale and work together to devise a unique performance piece—complete with music, character-driven scenes, and creative staging—designed especially for young audiences. Participants will gain hands-on experience in acting, story development, musical integration, and ensemble collaboration, all while having fun and building confidence on stage.
Whether you're an experienced performer or new to the stage, this is your chance to bring magic to life and share it with the next generation of dreamers!
