**Title of Position:**Theatrical Set Mover & Production Support

Essential Workforce
Primary Purpose: The Theatrical Set Mover & Production Support position assists with the transportation, setup, breakdown, and movement of theatrical scenery, equipment, props, and related materials between schools, performance spaces, storage facilities, and other locations.
This position requires physical strength, safe driving skills, basic tool proficiency, good judgment, and the ability to work cooperatively with theater personnel, school custodians,
Compensation Range: $23 - $25 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Load, unload, move, and safely secure theatrical scenery, platforms, props, equipment, and supplies.
- Lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more, individually or with assistance when appropriate.
- Safely drive and maneuver 10-foot, 15-foot, and 20-foot box trucks, including positioning vehicles for loading and unloading.
- Assist with the setup, breakdown, assembly, disassembly, and placement of theatrical scenery and equipment.
- Use common hand and power tools, including drill/drivers, hammers, chisels, grinders, and related equipment.
- Follow instructions from supervisors, technical directors, theater staff, and other designated personnel.
- Work cooperatively and professionally with school custodial, secretarial, teaching, administrative, and theater staff.
- Identify practical solutions to problems encountered during transportation, loading, installation, and removal of theatrical materials.
- Improvise safe and effective solutions when unusual conditions arise at performance, storage, or school locations.
- Protect scenery, equipment, buildings, floors, doors, vehicles, and other property while moving materials.
