THE PERFORMING ARTS CORPS!

PROGRAM AND AUDITION INFORMATION

A 9-month holistic and extensive actor training program for students from grades 7th - 12th who are passionate about learning all aspects of professional theater and film. Students are continually challenged and nurtured as artists while also learning the business and life skills offered in our Leadership Institute and the College & Career Counseling (additional fee) programs.

Admission Only

Admittance into the Performing Arts Corps is by audition only.

You can either sign up for an in-person audition slot or you can submit your audition virtually! (more info below)

TRAINING

  • Weekly classes and expert training in acting, singing, dance, and entertainment industry business skills taught by industry professionals
  • Individualized coaching and mentorship
  • On-camera classes including experience on a Film set and opportunity to build a film reel
  • Participation in performances
  • College and career counseling by an accredited college counselor
  • Business and leadership skills through the Leadership Institute
  • Intern and volunteer career development opportunities
  • An opportunity to join a community of like-minded, passionate artists your age

APPLICATION & AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

OUR AUDITION PROCESS

STEP 1 - Prepare your Audition Packet (see requirements below)

STEP 2 - Sign-Up for an Audition Slot - CLICK HERE

STEP 3 - Attend an Info Session

We will hold info sessions directly before auditions for students & families to attend, but if you would like more information before committing to an audition slot, please feel free to attend any of our in-person sessions or join a virtual session.

*You are not required to attend an info session in order to audition for the Corps.

STEP 4 - Attend your Audition

STEP 5 - Schedule a day to come Shadow our Saturday Corps classes

Once you have completed all of these steps, we will reach out to you about acceptance. OUR APPLICATIONS WILL CLOSE ON APRIL 1st, 2026!

AUDITION INFO & REQUIREMENTS

Auditions are open to all students who will be in grades 7th-12th grade (in the fall) who are passionate about learning professional theater, film, & business skills.

If you are unable to attend an in-person audition, you can submit an audition application virtually > CLICK HERE!

For your AUDITION, you will need to prepare:

  • A memorized one-minute monologue of your choosing (please no self-written monologues)
  • (optional) A memorized one-minute song (may be sung to a track or a capella)
  • A theatre resume and recent photo/headshot
  • A transcript of your most recent grades
  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor
  • A brief statement of why you are interested in joining the Performing Arts Corps

Acceptances are offered on a rolling basis so the earlier you audition, the more likely you will be considered for a spot in the program.

PACKAGES AND PAYMENT PLANS

We offer a variety of packages, including:

  • FULL Corps In-Person Performing Arts Corps Member
  • College Counseling with our Certified College Counselor, Vicki Johnson

*We offer different payment plans and scholarships for those who are eligible.
